Job Description:

The Transitional Healthcare Worker is responsible for contributing to the highest level of care by providing non-certified support services and provide daily comfort, social, recreational, and supportive services to the residents and maintain a clean and safe environment in Healthcare.

Job Duties:

  • Make beds, tidy rooms, remove dirty linens & replace with new linens
  • Assist with recognizing special celebrations or residents
  • Spend time with residents as necessary
  • Perform dining assistant & food service duties
  • Escort residents to & from areas of the building
  • Perfom cleaning functions as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with elderly people, preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required
  • Dependable, cooperative, and highly motivated to work with and care for the elderly
  • Sign up and start CNA classes within 60 days of being hired/transferred into this position
  • Complete all required training and in-services, as required
